Founded in 2025, Foundry is a community owned and run, grassroots fighting game community in Walsall.

Starting with five people around a TV in a pub cubicle, we’ve since grown to a biweekly night and the best place for offline fighting games in the Walsall, Birmingham, Midlands area with 50+ people across two floors of the Midland’s only free play arcade, The Retro Realm.

We run biweekly offline tournaments for Street Fighter 6 & Tekken 8 including official Tekken World Tour (TWT) dojo nights and European Tekken Cup tournaments.

We also do anime fighting games and variety/retro games. The Discord members vote for the game in the anime bracket and the variety/retro game we usually reveal when registration opens.

So far we’ve run Street Fighter Third Strike, Virtua Fighter 5, Dragonball FighterZ, Soulcalibur 6, UNIST, Guilty Gear Xrd and Strive, BlazBlue, 2XKO, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat and loads more.
